I have used Micrografix windows draw since windows 98! I still have it on my old dell laptop running Windows XP. Brilliant programme, does everything I need it to do.
I have been using this program for more than ten years, it is very good and easy to use, and I recommend it to everyone who needs to draw geometric shapes and many other thanks to those who produced this quick, easy and useful program
I have been working with Micrografx windows Draw 6 for over 20 years, doing work for school and home. There is no other program like it in its simplicity, ease, complexity and resourcefulness. It does everything a teacher could think of. After Windows 7, I’ve had to have a Virtual Machine on my Windows 8 and then 10 to run it, but it's pain. I wish the developers snapped it up, gave it a modern look (do not mess with the programming, because it’s perfect the way it is - maybe just add the choice to save files as PDF) then re-released it as editing software for busy teachers who cannot bother or afford to work with complicated stuff like Photoshop and Illustrator. I would even pay a hefty one time price for it if I’m promised long term support.
Reema, I have been using Micrografx draw6 for 20 years also. I have it running on windows 10, with the latest updates as of 1st July 2020 with no problems at all. My Laptop is 13 years old this year Compaq Presario 300e. Have been considering buying a new laptop but I love using Draw6 that much I'm reluctant incase it doesn't work again. I use Draw6 these days mainly for drawing my family trees which can be huge on screen.
Wish they would bring out the same thing, and just as easy to use on an Android platform.
I've used Illustrator, Corel, Inkscape and quite few others over the years but none can compare to the intuitive ease, amazing set of high quality tools and features, user friendly beautifully designed Micrografix Windows Draw Plus v6 software.
My wife loves Windows Draw 6 but recently decided she needed to get off of Windows XP on her nine year old machine. My computer was running Win 7 so we were going to have to keep her old XP machine just for those occasions when we needed to use Windows Draw. Both of our machines are now on Windows 10 and they are both running Windows Draw just fine using the procedure and a new install file from http://windowsdraw64.comoj.com/ which I gladly paid $30 for. My wife's install went without a hitch but I had to boot in safe mode to install it on my older laptop that had been upgraded from Win 7 to 10. Both of our laptops have Intel i5 processors and a lot of RAM and Draw runs lightening fast!
I don't know why Corel isn't selling Windows Draw these days. It's still one of the best graphics programs out there for home use. I bought it in 1999 for $15 at CompUSA and it was the best buy ever. It does most of the things that very expensive graphics programs do and it does them much easier when you get to things like banners, really wild font effects and a very nice photo editor.
I have used Micrografx Draw for years both where I worked and at home for drawing up ham radio antenna projects. I considered it to be the best drawing software outside of real CAD programs which take a long time to learn and so easy to forget. A guy recommended I try Google Draw and I find it quite good. Not as good as MG Draw but pretty close. With MG Draw, I could import graphics and overlay sketches. Google Draw will run on any machine whereas MG Draw only worked up until the end of Windows XP. Rats! I was using it on Windows 7 Pro in virtual mode. I think that's the end of it now that Windows XP support has evaporated.
Wish they would bring out the same thing, and just as easy to use on an Android platform.

Micrografx Draw 6 was the best program ever. How could that be outdated?
Is there any similar program today, that is so complete and easy to use?
